Test Alert across Alberta

Today at 1:55 p.m., the Wireless Public Alerting system will send a test alert to Albertans. During the test, an alert will sound on compatible cell phones with a message letting the user know the sound is part of a test, and that there is no need for concern. In conjunction with this test Copperhaven will be holding a practice lockdown at the same time as the Emergency Alert test.
